Anna & Kalia in Korea --May 2016-- Part 3

Trip destinations —> Seoul Land!!!

Seoul Land Caricature~

Directions: Sinchon (Line 2)
—> Seoul Grand Park (Line 4). We took Line 2 and transferred to Line 4 at Sadang Station. This only cost us about $1.50 each for a 55 minutes trip (one way). Depending on which exit you take, just exit and follow the signs to Seoul Land. We actually followed the crowd, lol. There should be a counter where you buy the tram ticket to take you to one of the attractions on the "island." Then when you get off the tram at the Seoul Land stop, proceed to the ticket counter for Seoul Land.

I was determined to skip classes this day to spend it with the girls riding the roller coasters but these girls... they just had to get sick and nauseous from the rides. So, after a few rides by myself, I fed them and headed back to Sinchon. While they went to rest, I went to my Korean language class. There was no people, the lines we short, and we had our first caricatures drawn here at S Land.

This is the ticket for the tram ride. It was about $3 each.

Waiting in line for the next scheduled tram.

Our stop! We made it!

What am I?

Getting our first ever caricature done! (Not Kalia's first though).

I spy some Korean celebrities~

Our lovely caricaturist. She was great! I loved the outcome of ours.

"My Love From the Stars" leads' caricature!

Anna and Christina done. Kalia is in the process.

Waaaahhh! LOOK AT IT~~~~

No people, no line~ Our first ride - The Pirate Ship Swing.

It felt like we had the whole amusement park to ourselves aside from the few other families here.

Our second ride where we had to physically participate.

We rode together while Anna did all the work by herself.

Single rider Anna.

Our third ride was bumper cars.

We rode a ride that spin us around a lot and we went on it twice so they both got sick while I was fine. Then we went on another one and that one flips us back and forth so that made them even mroe sick. So, here's a picture of me on my beautiful horse.

Finding a place to eat.

The beautiful exterior of this Korean restaurant.

An empty restaurant to ourselves.

Boiled pork slices with a radish side dish - Bossam.

I think this was a hangover soup - Yukgaejang. OR maybe it was kimchi soup.

This is another restaurant.

It the Jeju Island stone!

Who loves Webtoons?!

Run!

I got caught!

"Come back here!"

"How could you do this to me!?" (Pulls hair)

A funny webtoon that was turned into a Korean drama last year.

He's so cute!

Him too!

I came during the second part of class so I had to catch up.

Part 4 coming soon~

Thank you~

Christina
