Damyang's Bamboo Festival

Long time no see~

Hi everyone. How have you guys been? It's been forever since I came back for an update but I will soon finish uploading all the trips I've taken in Korea during the time I studied abroad last year. Thank you guys for coming back~

After finishing my Korea trip, I will be uploading my trip to Japan back in July. Then, I'll be uploading the activities I've done here back home.

It's almost a year ago that I left Korea! Time goes by so fast.

On May 6-8 of 2016, we took a trip down to Damyang and then to Boseong on the last day. We took the bus on Friday night and arrived there around late at night. Since the bus station had a small jjimjilbang/sauna, we stayed there for the night. In the morning, we took another bus to the bamboo festival. After another night in the jjimjilbang/sauna, we headed off to Boseong. The trip to Boseong was only with Debbie and Minamo because Sam and Shena had to go back to Seoul on Saturday night. It was a fun-filled trip with beautiful scenery and awesome food, of course!

Enjoy~

Mr. Bamboo and Minamo.

Ms. Strawberry and us. Debbie was taking the picture.

They had booths set up around and along the river.

Bike rentals for couples. You can also ride it alone.

First stop, breakfast.

Bamboo ice cream, but it tasted like green tea a bit.

A random mound after an incline up a hill.

Here, they filmed 1 Night and 2 Days.

Tea House break time!

We were playing a game but I forgot what we were playing. But we had fun!

LOVE, as per Sam's request.

Making our way to dinner. Tteok galbi~~~~~

We can see that Sam fell in love with the tteok galbi/short rib patties.

Falling in love again~

Full and happy!

YEP! We ate it all! It was a very delicious meal! I'd love to go back.
This was the end for the day. After eating, we took the bus back. The bus almost drove off without us because he didn't think we were going to get on since we didn't get up when he was approaching. If he just drove by, we would have had to wait another hour.

The next blog will be on our trip to the Green Tea fields of Boseong!

On a side note, it's exactly 1 year and a month since this trip! I miss traveling with the girls~

Thank you~

♡ Christina
