War Memorial of Korea Part 2

First Visit

Hi everyone~ This may be the last post for this January~ I'm writing it as I'm waiting to board the plane to Jeju and have to upload my pictures so I'll try to do it when I'm back in Seoul.

Today's blog is about me and Minamo's trip to the War Memorial of Korea. This is actually my 2nd visit to the Museum since I've gone back in August on the tour with Yonsei. I only took pictures of the things I've not seen during the first trip. So, I'm posting up the ones not similar to the 1st post. Enjoy~

On December 5th, Friday, Minamo and I went to the War Memorial of Korea. I wanted to go again since I only got to see the 1st floor. So, when Minamo asked me to go with her, I was like, YES! We left Sinchon at 10 AM and got to the Memorial Hall in about 16 minutes. We walked to the Memorial Hall but we went into the wrong entrance that was on the left instead of going through the gates on the right. We were stopped and asked where we were going since the place we entered was where you had to provide an ID. What ID?! I was so confused lol. The worker told us that the entrance to the War Museum was next door instead. Now, we know not to go into the fenced entrance area :] Don't go in there... I'm not sure what it was but don't go...

We were in the Hall for a few hours then headed to the outside area to take a look around.

After finishing the outside exhibition, we headed off to Itaewon to eat since we have not eaten the whole day. We tried to go to the Market but they sold only clothes... We then went into a Thai restaurant after walking around but they were out of a lot of things on the menu so we decided to leave. A few steps up the street was a mandu/dumpling shop and we decided to go there instead. The mandus were delicious. I want to go again! There was even a line forming after we got in so we got lucky :]

This mandu soup that Minamo ordered came with so much clams(?) filling up the whole bowl.

Jonny Dumpling = Yummy!

Thank you for reading~

The next post will be up after I get time to upload my pictures from my camera. It may be in the middle of February when the next post goes up. I'll be in Jeju for the next 3 days with my sisters. I'm so excited! They'll be leaving on the 21st of January and I'll be packing since I'm having a different accommodation for the following semester. Then, I'll get about 2 days rest before backpacking with my friends for the next 2 weeks. I'm also excited for this upcoming trip too! Remember to come back for more pictures~
