Last Saturday on the 1st, my cousin (Jee Vee) and his wife (Lily) hosted their baby shower for the 3rd addition to their family, Eithan Lee. The event officially began at 12pm but people started coming a little earlier. I arrived there by 10am with my younger brothers in the truck filled with chairs and table, ready to set up. Aside from the stomach aches I received that morning, we were able to set up and get ready for the guests. Food was the first thing on the list. There were fried rice, chow mien, fried chicken, pepper, a variety of wraps and watermelons that I helped chopped up :] The decorations were so pretty and cute! The party favors were pretty, too. They were candles with stripes and mustaches. The desserts were prettily decorated and placed~ Pictures were taken here and there while people came. Games were also played! We played a scratcher game (twice, once at the beginning and at the end) and sadly, I did not win that game. Next up was guessing the size of the mother's belly! I don't remember who won this but it was not from our family :] We also played Bingo and for this game, there were 3 winners and I was one of them. Yay!!!! I got $5! I won the balloon stuffing game, too. We also played a game called, "Pin the Sperm on the Egg." I obviously was not able to even get close to the egg. I was so far away. If I remember, I was able to stuff 37 balloons into my shirt :] For this prize, I got a beautiful set of 4 glass plates. There was also a number guessing game in which the winner would get a prize. If I remember correctly, their friend Laura who this game and got shot cups. Mary also won a game but I'm not sure which one, she won a picture frame. After playing games, it was gift opening time. The little clothes were so cute and the gifts were awesome! I never heard of a baby diaper dispenser!? lol, well, now I know. After this, they started to eat for a second round and the kids and I played with the plastic baseball game sets. We were so into the game that we were not aware they were already cleaning up. We eventually helped cleaned up the remaining things, packed the chairs and tables, then had a last game for the kids. They were having so much fun blowing their balloons and trying to put the ball that was between their thighs into the cup. My niece, Peyton, also won the game :] We finished picking up the remain trash and the lady that had been sticking around since the "Pin the Sperm" game came back to collect the remaining cans, too. After hanging out for a while, we left home. The girls stopped at Otto's before coming home. There goes my $5 that I just won today. I needed to refill my cotton pads anyways. It was a fun-filled and hot day even though the weather was great. Take a look at the photos I've taken below. Nyab Jee (Lily) also took lots of photos with Houa's camera with the guests, too (she and Sabrina went camping with Diana and her family on this day), but I do not have them. Enjoy~~>

What are your thoughts of having your own babies in the future? How many would you like to have? What would you name them? ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. I'd love to have some of my own in the future. I don't have a specific amount I would like but the more the merrier because I have a big family of my own too. I haven't thought of many yet but a boy name would be Jun :] It sounds nice~
