July 4th, 2015
UPDATE: I haven't been updating for the past weeks as I am just staying home and attending class in the evening. It's already the 4th week of Summer classes for Japanese, half way through. It's a little hard to learn and to memorize but I am getting the hang of it. Almost got all of the Hiragana down, the first 20 Kanji (almost :]), and it's not required for the Katagana, but I will learn them in the future.
It was a busy Saturday! Starting off with a surprise baby shower for Nyab John (sister-in-law) at noon. She already found out about it though :] It was very fun with lots of food and watching episodes of How to Train Your Dragon to Box Trolls and the beginning of Transformers with Coen. They were very interesting! The set up, cake, and cup cakes were very pretty!
Then we ended the party and took off to Hazel to swim. Only Seng, Kyle, Me, Anna, Kalia, Xai, Alex, Angel, and Sabrina went. We swam until 7 and went home.
Seng, Diana, and John brought meat and oyster to grill! THANK YOU! and also thank you to John and Steve who brought fireworks :] Everyone stayed until 11 then we cleaned until 12. Sleep finally at 1 in the morning :] A fun-filled Fourth of July!
