Today, I went to San Francisco with Shena and Mary! Shena and I had to attend the Pre-departure Orientation at SF State. I took Mary along with us to help with the directions and GPS, hehe. We left later than planned because Mary woke up late but we make it to SF before 8am and got to SF State at 8:30-ish. Mary and I had a hard time figuring out the parking kiosk machine and accidentally pressed the ticket for next day parking, which was $14! So Shena helped pay half for a new one which was $7... lol.... Then we were also trying to find Jack Adams Hall and tried to follow these girls. But, they were completely lost too. A man was able to find the correct way to the Hall and helped inform us of where to go. We got there and the orientation began a little after 9:15am. After 11:45, the students went to separate rooms for their country information session. Around 1:45pm, we left off to Japan Town!!!
We got into Japan Town and in the quad, they were celebrating Children's Day. Mary got us some Takoyaki and they were good as always! We went into some shops and walked around deciding which place to eat at. Mary and Shena also got Crepes and I got a Mango Boba. I didn't like it because it just tasted like very sweet juice. After staying in the book store for a while, we walked back. We decided to eat in "On the Bridge." After eating, it was already 7pm!! Time went by so fast?! We then went off to the Golden Gate Bridge. I dropped off Mary and Shena to walk the bridge and drove to the other side. It was so cold, but they were fast at walking across the bridge. After they got across the bridge, it was after 8pm and we set off home. After dropping Shena off at her house, we got home after 10:30pm. It was a long day!!! I was sore, too!
